Strong technical sales support is essential for turning customer enquiries into successful projects and allowing our commercial teams to stay focused on the market. As
Sales Engineer, APAC, you will provide the technical, commercial and coordination support needed to strengthen NOVENCO's sales activities across the Asia-Pacific region.
Working closely with our regional Sales Managers, customers and technical teams, you will support enquiries from initial requirement through quotation and follow-up, helping ensure opportunities progress efficiently while customers receive the right technical solution.
Your Impact
- Provide day-to-day technical sales support to the APAC commercial team across customer enquiries, quotations and ongoing opportunities.
- Review customer requirements, project specifications and technical enquiries and recommend appropriate NOVENCO solutions.
- Support product selection, equipment sizing, performance evaluations and other technical calculations where required.
- Prepare accurate technical and commercial quotations, proposals, presentations and supporting documentation.
- Follow up proactively on quotations, customer enquiries, outstanding technical clarifications and sales opportunities.
- Maintain structure and visibility across leads and ongoing opportunities, ensuring actions and commitments are followed through.
- Support Sales Managers with the technical and administrative coordination required to maximise their customer-facing time.
- Coordinate with NOVENCO engineering, warranty and technical teams when specialist input is required.
- Support warranty-related and technical customer enquiries and assist with initial troubleshooting.
- Develop a strong understanding of NOVENCO products and applications to provide confident and responsive support to customers.
- Build effective working relationships with customers, consultants, contractors, distributors and other commercial partners across APAC.
What You Bring
- Experience within technical sales, sales support, application engineering, technical support or a similar customer-facing technical role.
- Practical experience working with technical equipment and the ability to understand equipment performance, applications and troubleshooting principles.
- HVAC, ventilation or air movement experience is highly advantageous; experience from industrial equipment, machinery, pumps, compressors, chillers or other technical equipment environments may also be relevant.
- Experience preparing and following up quotations, technical proposals or customer enquiries.
- A structured and organised working style with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to manage several enquiries and priorities simultaneously without losing visibility of actions and deadlines.
- Strong customer communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Commercial awareness combined with the confidence to discuss technical requirements with customers and colleagues.
- Professional proficiency in English. Additional APAC languages are an advantage.
Your Background
A technical qualification within Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, HVAC, Building Services or a related discipline is advantageous, but practical technical experience and demonstrated capability are equally important.
Candidates who have developed strong equipment knowledge through hands-on training, technical sales, service, application engineering or similar experience are encouraged to apply.
