Job Description

  • Location: West coast region

We are seeking a driven and technically competent Sales Engineer to support business growth across either ACMV maintenance & retrofit solutions or metrology systems within the APAC region. This role combines technical sales, customer engagement, and solution consultation, working closely with internal engineering and regional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage sales opportunities for ACMV maintenance & retrofit projects and/or metrology solutions across assigned markets.

  • Identify new business opportunities through prospecting, client visits, and regional market development.

  • Understand customer technical requirements and propose suitable solutions, including system upgrades, retrofits, maintenance programs, or precision measurement systems.

  • Prepare and present technical proposals, quotations, and tender submissions.

  • Liaise with engineering, service, and project teams to ensure solution feasibility and smooth project execution.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with end-users, consultants, contractors, and distributors.

  • Support product demonstrations, technical presentations, and customer training where required.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback within the region.

  • Achieve assigned sales targets and provide regular sales forecasts and reports.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or related fields).

  • Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in:

    • ACMV / HVAC maintenance, retrofit, or energy optimization solutions, and/or

    • Metrology, precision measurement, inspection, or industrial instrumentation systems.

  • Strong technical understanding with the ability to translate complex solutions into customer value.

  • Experience handling regional or APAC accounts is an advantage.

  • Good communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Self-motivated, independent, and comfortable with regional travel when required.

  • Proficient in MS Office CRM experience is a plus.

  • Ability to communicate in English additional regional languages are an advantage.
