Role: Merchants Acquisition Director
Location: Southeast Asia
Renumeration: Basic + Commissions
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement sales strategies
- Prepare operational and financial sales department reports
- Oversee the management, learning, and career development of the sales team
- Set and allocate departmental performance targets in accordance with company goals.
- In charge of business marketing planning and market management.
- Drive business development and partnership initiatives in the payment sector.
- Establish, implement, and manage policies and frameworks for collaboration with partner institutions.
- Responsible for driving and supporting the implementation of the companys business objectives.
- Directly coordinate cross-selling and joint marketing initiatives to maximize exposure and profitability
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor&aposs degree or above in related disciplines ;
- Proficient in English& Chinese
- Proficient in various sales management and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Proficient in the characteristics of the payment industry, with at least 5 years of experience in (payment gateway/Aggregated payment )sales and over 2 years team management within the aggregate payment sector; or experience in founding/starting up an aggregation company.52
- Thorough understanding of the business characteristics and processes of payment products, with expertise in seamless communication and operational execution of third-party payment products from market research to product development and back to market implementation.
- Possess strong business acumen, a broad perspective, and commercial sensitivity, with a clear understanding of the companys strategic direction and the ability to effectively implement plans in alignment with the sales team to achieve company targets; capable of formulating industry marketing strategies, driving innovation, and ensuring effective execution.
- Candidates with successful experience in negotiating with key clients and strategic partners will be preferred.
- Highly perceptive, able to handle complex situations flexibly, make rapid judgments, and possess strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong team management skills and experience; average performance achievement over the past two years above the midline.
- Passionate about the business, resilient under pressure, and skilled at driving cross-team collaboration.
