Role Overview
The Large Deal Pursuit Leader is responsible for originating, shaping, and closing very large, complex transformation programs (USD 100M+) across the APJMEA region. This is a senior, hands-on role with full ownership of the pursuit lifecyclefrom opportunity identification and deal shaping through commercial negotiation and closure.
The role requires deep executive engagement, leadership of cross-functional pursuit teams, and the ability to sell business outcomes by orchestrating the firm's full services portfolio and partner ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute strategic pursuits for large-scale, multi-year transformation programs valued at USD 100M+.
- Originate, qualify, and develop a strong pipeline of net-new large deal opportunities across APJMEA.
- Own overall pursuit strategy, value proposition, and commercial positioning through to deal closure.
- Build, manage, and sustain trusted CxO-level relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
- Work closely with solution architects, presales, delivery leaders, and ecosystem partners to design differentiated, outcome-led solutions.
- Articulate compelling business transformation narratives aligned to client strategy, industry dynamics, and future-state objectives.
- Navigate complex buying centers, governance structures, and procurement processes across diverse regional markets.
- Operate across the APJMEA region, with primary focus on ANZ, ASEAN, and Japan.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven track record of leading and closing large-scale transformation deals valued at USD 100M+.
- Established executive-level network across APJMEA, with strong presence in Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, and Australia.
- Background in Tier-1 System Integration, IT Services, or Strategy Consulting environments.
- Strong hunter mindset with a clear focus on originating and winning net-new opportunities.
- Deep industry expertise in one or more of the sectors like Financial Services (Banking, Capital Markets, Wealth & Asset Management), Manufacturing, Automotive, Energy & Renewables (including legacy energy providers transitioning to clean energy), Government / Public Sector
- Ability to operate effectively in a highly matrixed, collaborative environment while retaining direct ownership of customer relationships and deal outcomes.
- Strong executive presence, commercial acumen, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders internally and externally.
