Our client, a software company that sells network and business software to Telecoms Service Providers, is looking for a Sales Director based in Singapore to sell to the likes of Singtel and Globe.
The role is sole contributor in nature, and we are looking for someone with experience selling complex software solutions, ideally to the Networks side (CTO/CTIO/CISCO) although candidates with experience in selling BSS business solutions may also be considered
.
The role is mostly focused on new business, but will involve account management activitie

Candidates with experience in selling any of the following would be of interest: Network Security (sold to Telcos), Risk Management, Roaming, OSS, Service Assurance, Core Network, DPI, EPC, and Network Analy

Key Responsibil
ities Own and deliver annual revenue and profitability targets across assigned strategic acco
unts. Drive new business acquisition and account expansion within telecom operators, enterprises, and part
ners. Manage the full sales lifecycle, including qualification, solution positioning, negotiation, closure, and collec
tion. Build and execute account growth strategies based on deep market, customer, and competitive anal
ysis.
Strategic Account Mana
gement Develop and maintain trusted relationships at CXO, VP, and Director levels
withincustomer organiza
tions. Act as the primary point of accountability for customer satisfaction, comm
ercialsuccess, and longterm value cre
ation. Ensure customer objectives align with strategic goals and product ro
admap. Drive high customer satisfaction and referenceab
ility.
Solution and Value Based
Selling Lead consultative and solution based selling motions to address customer b
usinesschal
lenges. Define, articulate, and present clear value propositions and ROI driven b
usines
scases. Collaborate with presales and product teams to design technically and comme
rciallysound sol
utions. Spearhead solution development to ensure customer requirements are fully add
ressed.
Deal Execution and For
ecasting Negotiate complex commercial and contractual terms to close high-value, multiyea
r deals. Maintain accurate pipelines, forecasts, and deal governance in line with Mo
bileum'ssales pr
ocesses. Ensure deal profitability, compliance, and timely closure (Create, Cover
, Close,Co
llect).CrossFunctional Colla
boration Coordinate internal stakeholders including presales, delivery, support, finance
, legal,and produc
t teams. Enable technical readiness and knowledge alignment for internal teams su
pportingstrategic a
ccounts. Work closely with product management to influence roadmap priorities
based onmarket and customer i
nsights.Market & Competitive Inte
lligence Track industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activity across the
telecomec
osystem. Identify risks and opportunities impacting current and future revenue
growth. Share insights with regional sales leadership, marketing, and produc
t teams.
Required Quali
fications
Education Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Electronics,
or relatedtechnical d
iscipline. Master's degree is
preferred.
Experience 15+ years of B2B enterprise sales experience in Telecom, Networking, Secu
rity, RiskManagement, or IT
services. Proven track record as a senior individual contributor closing large
, complex,solution ba
sed deals. Demonstrated success selling to telecom operators and enterp
rise CXOs. Experience in strategic account management and multistakeholder deal env
ironments.
