Key Responsibilities
Lead new market development for BYD's comprehensive range of commercial electric vehicles and related green energy products and solutions.
Define target market segments, develop go-to-market strategies, and drive execution of sales and business development initiatives.
Develop and manage annual and long-term sales plans to achieve growth targets.
Oversee sales performance across BYD's commercial EV portfolio and associated product lines, ensuring sustained growth and market penetration in Singapore.
Manage the commercial function with accountability for P&L performance, distributor portfolio management, and revenue optimisation.
Identify, prepare, and participate in tenders and projects related to commercial EVs and green energy solutions.
Collaborate and liaise with internal departments to ensure cross-functional alignment and operational synergy.
Lead, develop, and manage the Sales Team, ensuring strong performance, discipline, and capability building.
Drive strategic partnerships, key account development, and major customer engagements.
Perform other duties and strategic initiatives as assigned by the Managing Director.
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related discipline
Proven leadership experience in commercial vehicle sales, automotive sales, fleet sales, or B2B sales environments
Strong track record in market development and revenue growth
Experience managing distributors, partners, or channel sales structures is highly advantageous
Solid commercial acumen with experience managing business performance / P&L exposure preferred
Familiarity with government projects, tenders, or large-scale commercial deals is a strong advantage
Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, growth-oriented organisation.
