Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across Sodick's full product range to expand market presence
  • Develop and execute sales plans that achieve or exceed sales targets
  • Prioritise high-potential market segments based on strategic analysis
  • Lead the implementation and adoption of a CRM system for the Singapore sales team to improve customer segmentation and engagement
  • Analyse sales data and customer behaviour using analytics tools to prepare performance dashboards and provide actionable insights for management
  • Utilise AI-enabled tools to automate routine sales tasks such as quotations and follow-ups, and manage digital sales content across online platforms
  • Evaluate and pilot new sales technologies, including AI chatbots, to handle standard product enquiries and improve customer service efficiency

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Automation, Business, or related fields
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and growing accounts or winning new business
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes to identify value-added applications of precision technology and automation
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • High digital literacy and openness to adopting new technologies such as CRM systems, AI tools, and virtual platforms to enhance sales effectiveness
  • Self-driven, organised, resilient, and capable of managing multiple priorities independently with minimal supervision
