Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Design Consultant role based in Singapore. The Sales Design Consultant will welcome clients to the showroom, understand their lifestyle and aesthetic preferences, and guide them in selecting furniture and furnishings that meet their functional and design needs. Responsibilities include preparing design proposals and layouts, presenting customized solutions using Roche Bobois collections, and managing the full sales cycle from initial contact to after-sales follow-up. The role involves maintaining an attractive showroom display, staying current on product lines and design trends, and collaborating with the team to achieve sales targets and deliver an exceptional client experience.

Qualifications

  • Strong Customer Service skills with a focus on building long-term client relationships and delivering exceptional in-showroom experiences.
  • Proven Sales skills, including consultative selling, closing techniques, and experience working with premium or luxury products.
  • Knowledge of Interior Design principles and space planning, with the ability to translate client needs into cohesive design concepts.
  • Understanding of Furniture and Furnishings, including materials, finishes, and functionality, to provide informed product recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English; additional languages are an asset.
  • Ability to work on-site in Singapore, including weekends and retail hours, and to collaborate effectively in a multicultural team.
  • Prior experience in luxury retail, interior design studios, or high-end furniture sales is highly beneficial.
  • Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Business, or a related field is preferred but equivalent experience will be considered.

Additional Requirement

  • Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents are preferred.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Singapore.
