We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales cum Operation Manager to oversee both business development and day-to-day operations in the construction painting sector. The role requires a balance of strong sales acumen, operational management skills, and industry knowledge in interior and exterior painting projects for residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company revenue targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with interior designers, contractors, developers, and property owners.
Identify new business opportunities and prepare quotations, tenders, and proposals.
Negotiate contracts, project terms, and pricing with clients.
Manage client accounts, ensuring high customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Operations Management
Oversee project execution for interior and exterior painting works, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery.
Plan manpower allocation and supervise painting teams effectively.
Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to coordinate project requirements.
Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality standards, and resolve on-site issues.
Ensure compliance with Singapore's workplace safety and regulatory requirements (MOM, BCA, etc.).
Administrative & Team Leadership
Manage project documentation, including contracts, progress reports, and handover records.
Work closely with the finance/admin team on invoicing, budgeting, and cost control.
Provide training, guidance, and performance evaluation for painting supervisors and workers.
Support HR matters related to foreign worker management (deployment, training, certifications).
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business, or related field (preferred).
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in construction, renovation, or painting industry.
Strong knowledge of paint products, application methods, and surface preparation techniques.
Proven track record in sales and project management.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead multi-national workforce and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) familiarity with project management tools is an advantage.
Possess a valid Class 3 driving license (preferred).
