About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive
Sales Coordinator to support our Institutional Sales team across APAC. In this role, you will work closely with Account Managers to ensure seamless sales operations, accurate order processing, and excellent customer service. You will handle accounts mainly in Southeast Asia, HK, and will play an essential role in enabling sales success and maintaining strong customer relationships.
How You Will Make An Impact
Sales Operations & Pricing Support
- Assist Account Managers in preparing and submitting new and renewal pricing, quotations, and proposals.
- Ensure timely delivery of accurate quotations, especially during peak business seasons.
Order & Contract Management
- Process electronic journal orders (new and renewal) accurately in the CRM system.
- Manage the contracting process using the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system, coordinating closely with the Contracts team.
- Ensure compliance, accuracy, and timely processing, particularly from November to April.
Reporting & Customer Insights
- Prepare customer usage reports and analytics upon request.
- Maintain and provide accurate data to support informed customer conversations.
Administrative & System Support
- Provide broad administrative support to the Institutional Sales team.
- Develop strong competency in systems and tools required for sales support functions.
- Be a key contact for information and reporting needs.
Customer & Agent Support
- Respond to ad-hoc inquiries from Account Managers, customers, and agents regarding systems, invoicing, workflows, or licensing.
- Attend customer or agent meetings as needed to provide supporting information.
- Collaborate closely with Sales Support to resolve customer access issues and ensure timely follow-up.
- Build trust and maintain strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Business Knowledge & Cross-team Collaboration
- Continue building knowledge of our Institutional Sales business models.
- Gain familiarity with other product areas such as Print, Rights & Licensing, Editorial, etc.
- Help reduce customer confusion and prevent channel conflict through informed internal coordination.
CRM Management
- Help Account Managers to maintain accurate account and opportunity information within CRM.
- Ensure all records are up to date and efficiently organized for compliance and reporting.
Marketing Support
- Coordinate with Marketing to deliver relevant collateral to customers when requested by Account Managers.
Other Responsibilities
- Participate in Sales Admin and broader organizational meetings.
- Support additional initiatives and projects as assigned.
