Job Summary
This role supports sales, purchasing, and administrative functions by assisting procurement, coordinating shipments, and ensuring timely deliveries within the Sales Department.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily procurement tasks to ensure timely ordering and supply of materials
- Prepare purchase quotations and follow up with vendors to confirm delivery schedules
- Coordinate and consolidate shipments to optimize delivery efficiency for the Sales Department
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to meet on-time delivery targets
- Participate in stock take exercises to maintain accurate inventory records
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors to support department operations
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Proficient in using MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to prepare documents and reports
- Communicate clearly in written and spoken English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking vendors
- Demonstrate attention to detail and take initiative in completing tasks accurately
- Organize work proactively and collaborate well within a team environment with minimal supervision
- Willingness to work at the Jurong location
