Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detailed-oriented Sales Coordinator to support our Sales team in quotation preparation, order coordination, customer communication and follow-up with internal departments. The ideal candidate will work closely with Production and Procurement to ensure timely quotations, smooth order execution and effective support for existing customer accounts. This role is well suited to candidates who are organized, responsive, detail-oriented and experienced in coordinating activities within a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial environment.
Job Description:
- Coordinate with Production and Procurement to ensure orders are scheduled, manufactured and delivered on time.
- Monitor order progress, follow up on delivery status, and update customers promptly on changes or delays.
- Handle RFQs by gathering material, pricing, and lead-time information for accurate quotation preparation.
- Prepare and track quotations, maintain records of inquiries, orders and pricing updates.
- Support existing customer accounts with day-to-day coordination and communication.
- Liaise across departments (Sales, Production, Procurement, Logistics, Customer Service) to ensure smooth execution.
- Prepare periodic reports on quotation activity, order status, and customer follow-ups.
- Assist in resolving customer issues and support continuous improvement in response efficiency and communication flow.
- Ensure compliance with QMS requirements related to contract review and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
Education and Experiences
- All academic disciplines are welcome.
- Preferably 2-5 years of experience in Sales Coordination, Sales Support, Customer Service, Order Management, or a similar role.
- Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or related business environment will be an advantage.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and with customers.
- Good understanding of quotation support, order processing, customer follow-up and internal coordination processes.
- Ability to work closely with Production and Procurement to gather accurate operational and commercial
- information.
- Good organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple inquiries and priorities simultaneously.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in quotation preparation, record maintenance and follow-up work.
- Ability to handle customer communication professionally, especially in cases involving delays, schedule changes or urgent requests.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, Outlook and ERP / order management systems where applicable.
- Proactive, responsible, responsive and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
