Role Overview

The Sales & Business Director is responsible for leading the overall sales strategy and execution for the Singapore market. This role drives revenue growth, expands market share, builds strong channel partnerships, and develops key enterprise and institutional customers. The position plays a critical leadership role in shaping market presence, sales excellence, and long-term business sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy & Performance
  • Develop and execute the overall sales strategy for the Singapore market to achieve annual revenue, growth, and market share targets.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer demand to refine go-to-market strategies.
  • Channel Development & Management
  • Expand, manage, and optimise distributor, dealer, and agent networks across Singapore.
  • Design and implement channel structures, policies, and incentive schemes to drive sustainable growth and partner performance.
  • Key Account & Strategic Projects
  • Lead negotiations and contract execution for major accounts, including enterprise clients, property developers, and government-related projects.
  • Build flagship customer references and benchmark projects to strengthen brand credibility and market positioning.
  • Sales Team Leadership
  • Lead, coach, and develop the sales team, including recruitment, training, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Drive a high-performance, results-oriented sales culture aligned with company values.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Marketing to align branding, promotions, and market campaigns.
  • Partner with After-Sales and Operations teams to enhance customer satisfaction, retention, and repeat business.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of sales management experience in the home appliances or related industries.
  • At least 3 years in a senior sales role within the new energy, smart appliances, or intelligent air-conditioning sector.
  • Proven Singapore market experience is strongly preferred.

Core Competencies

  • Strong market insight and strategic planning capability, with the ability to design and execute localized sales strategies.
  • Extensive channel management and key account development experience, with a track record of delivering large or complex sales projects.
  • Proven people leadership skills, capable of motivating and leading experienced sales professionals to achieve ambitious targets.
  • Excellent business negotiation, stakeholder management, and cross-department collaboration skills.
