Job Summary
Sell fine jewellery and watches, deliver expert product advice, build customer relationships, and meet sales targets while maintaining store presentation and aftersales service.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and identify their needs to recommend suitable fine jewellery and watches that match their preferences and occasions.
- Demonstrate and explain product features including metals, gemstones, karat, and certifications to help customers make informed purchase decisions.
- Close sales effectively to meet individual and store sales targets through persuasive communication and relationship building.
- Manage sales transactions accurately by processing payments, issuing receipts and invoices, and handling layaways and reservations.
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge on collections, craftsmanship, certifications, and care instructions to provide expert advice and inform customers about new arrivals and promotions.
- Provide after-sales support by handling returns and exchanges according to store policy, coordinating repairs and resizing services, and managing warranty claims.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards by replenishing displays, securing stock, and ensuring accurate tagging of products to enhance the shopping experience.
- Conduct stock counts and assist with inventory audits, reporting any discrepancies promptly to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Follow loss-prevention procedures and security protocols to safeguard high-value merchandise and store assets.
- Build and maintain a customer database to enable follow-up communications for repeat business and special events.
- Support store marketing initiatives by assisting with events, client invitations, and creating social media content as needed.
