Job Description

Brief Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Sales Assistant Manager/Manager, where you'll spearhead the development of new business opportunities in the global steel raw materials market, focusing on international trade and relationship building.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and pursue new business opportunities in the steel raw materials sector across international markets.
  2. Handle international and triangular trade transactions for various global projects and industrial clientele.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with overseas clients, traders, mills, EPC contractors, and suppliers.
  4. Enhance market presence in Southeast Asia, South Asia, the Middle East, and other international regions.
  5. Conduct market analysis, engage in pricing discussions, and navigate commercial negotiations with global partners.
  6. Collaborate effectively with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal teams to ensure seamless transaction execution.
  7. Monitor industry trends, commodity movements, and market developments to identify potential business opportunities.
  8. Manage the complete sales cycle, including business development, deal execution, and after-sales relationship management.
  9. Prepare quotations, contracts, shipping arrangements, and all trade-related documentation.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's Degree or relevant educational background.
  2. A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in B2B sales, international trading, or business development.
  3. Previous experience in steel, steel raw materials, commodities, industrial materials, or similar industries is highly preferred.
  4. Understanding of international trade flow, Incoterms, shipping, logistics, and commercial practices.
  5. Proven ability in new business development and management of overseas accounts.
  6. Entrepreneurial mindset with strong commercial awareness and negotiation capabilities.
  7. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
  8. Willingness to travel internationally as required.
