We are looking for an individual to join our Sales and Purchase Shipbroker Team.
The job scope of a Shipbroker is to act as specialist intermediaries/negotiators between ship owners of a vessel or to buy/sell on behalf of his clients.
Responsibilities would include
- Negotiating and fixing of ships.
- Marketing tonnages to clients
- Maintaining a database of vessel positions, tonnage, rates, and cargos.
- Monitoring the direction of the markets and advise clients accordingly to maximise profits.
- Expanding and developing contacts with principals from both Owners and Charterers.
- Preparing charter parties and other necessary fixture documentation, where required.
- Develop new customer base whilst building strong relationship with existing customers.
- Provide market updates and research for clients.
