About Us
AuroraFood is a wellness-inspired food tech company founded by three food scientists from the National University of Singapore (NUS). We believe everyone should be able to enjoy sweets they love without guilt or concern for their health.
In April 2023, we launched our B2C brand YU () Cookies, a specialty cookie brand dedicated to crafting sugar-conscious cookies using innovative food technology and sustainable packaging. Our brand name, YU (), is derived from the Chinese word for island, representing our roots in Singapore. We are passionate about creating delightful, memorable experiences through our thoughtfully crafted cookie collections.
Role Description
We are looking for a Marketing & Sales Intern who is proactive, creative, and eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-growing food brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the marketing lead to maintain and enhance brand image and awareness, with the goal of driving sales
- Plan and execute engaging posts and short-form videos on Xiaohongshu
- Research, write copy, and create content for brand and product promotions
- Conduct product photo shoots for social media, posters, and marketing materials
- Design high-quality graphics, event posters, and eDMs
- Assist with data entry and sales reporting for pop-up events and booths
- Manage stock and inventory records regularly
- Support Key Opinion Leader (KOL) collaborations when required
- Perform information research and content consolidation
- Promote products at pop-up booths and actively gather customer feedback
- Assist in developing sales and marketing strategies for festivals and events
- Support retail operations, manage store and retail channels, and explore new retail opportunities
- Manage online orders, including monitoring sales platforms, packing, coordinating deliveries, and providing customer service support
- Assist with general operational tasks such as product packing, office upkeep, and ad-hoc duties
Qualifications & Skills
- Quick learner with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal); Fluency in Chinese is required
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and responsibilities
- Proficient in Canva (mandatory)
- Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate, or similar tools is a plus.
- Illustration or drawing skills are a bonus
- Prior experience managing social media platforms (e.g. Instagram, TikTok) is preferred but not required.
Working Hours & Benefits
5-day work week (9:00 AM 6:00 PM)
On-site work at Ubi Techpark
Monthly stipend: S$1,000
Minimum commitment of 2 full months
Start date: as early as 29 December
