Job Description

MAIN PURPOSE

To develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies that drive revenue growth, enhance brand positioning, and expand market share in the Asia Pacific region. This role is responsible for aligning sales initiatives with marketing objectives, identifying market opportunities, and implementing data-driven strategies to achieve organizational goals in the luxury watch sector.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Sales Strategy Development and Execution

  • Support the Regional Sales Manager to develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with company objectives, identifying target markets and customer segments for the luxury watch portfolio.
  • Analyze sales performance metrics and market trends to identify growth opportunities and recommend strategic adjustments to sales approaches together with the Business Planning Manager
  • Collaborate with Regional Sales Manager and Boutique Manager to establish sales targets, performance benchmarks, and key performance indicators (KPIs) across all channels (wholesale, retail)
  • Create and maintain a sales pipeline, forecasting sell-in across our retail partners.

2. Marketing Strategy and Brand Positioning

  • Support the Regional Marketing Manager to design and execute integrated marketing strategies that enhance brand awareness, positioning, and customer engagement across the Asia Pacific region.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to understand market dynamics, consumer preferences, and emerging trends in the luxury watch industry.
  • Develop brand messaging and value propositions that resonate with target audiences and differentiate Grand Seiko in the competitive luxury market.
  • Manage marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media, events, and traditional media, ensuring consistent brand messaging.
  • Oversee the development of marketing collateral, including product brochures, case studies, and promotional materials that support sales efforts.

3. Digital Marketing and Customer Engagement

  • Develop and execute digital marketing strategies, including search engine optimization (SEO), content marketing, social media management, and digital advertising.
  • Manage and optimize the company website to enhance user experience, improve conversion rates, and showcase the Grand Seiko product portfolio effectively.
  • Create and manage social media campaigns that engage customers, build community, and drive brand loyalty across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and GS9 Club.
  • Analyze digital marketing performance using analytics tools (Google Analytics, CRM systems) to measure campaign effectiveness and ROI, providing actionable insights for optimization.
  • Support the BPM with the roll-out of CRM platform for MBS Boutique

4. Sales and Marketing Alignment

  • Work closely with sales teams to ensure marketing initiatives directly support sales objectives and provide necessary tools, materials, and training.
  • Conduct regular meetings with sales leadership to review performance, identify challenges, and develop solutions that drive mutual success.
  • Develop customer relationship management (CRM) strategies for MBS Boutique and ensure accurate customer data maintenance to support personalized marketing and sales efforts.
  • Create targeted marketing campaigns for different customer segments (B2B, B2C, retail partners) to maximize conversion and customer lifetime value.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing, social media, CRM systems, and marketing analytics tools.
  • Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and experience with business intelligence and reporting tools.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to senior management and external stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence stakeholders.
  • Deep passion for the luxury watch industry and comprehensive knowledge of Grand Seiko's brand positioning and product portfolio.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within the Asia Pacific region to support market development and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Understand Grand Seiko's HQ marketing policy & implement them in the APAC region.
  • Close communication with Japan HQ for project marketing management.
  • Able to write and speak Japanese fluently is preferred.
