Summary Benefits:

  • Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm
  • Location: Novena
  • Basic Salary: $4,000 to $5,500

Job Description

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across targeted trade lanes and industries.
  • Formulate and implement effective sales strategies, service offerings, and pricing models to achieve revenue targets.
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients and internal operations teams, ensuring smooth communication and development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Handle customer and vendor inquiries promptly, providing solutions that enhance client satisfaction.
  • Plan, organize, and participate in business meetings, industry events, and networking activities to expand market presence.
  • Manage freight negotiations and rate discussions with carriers, vendors, and overseas agents.
  • Prepare and deliver competitive quotations and rate proposals to customers and overseas offices.
  • Collaborate with overseas agents to align on requirements, rates, and service standards.
  • Conduct joint sales visits with operations teams to resolve service issues and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Support marketing initiatives, including market research, promotional campaigns, and digital outreach to enhance brand visibility.
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned to support business growth and operational efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in a freight forwarding or logistics company preferred.
  • Hands-on knowledge of FCL operations in USA/Canada/Europe trade lanes is advantageous.
  • Strong collaboration, multitasking, and organizational skills able to perform under pressure with discipline and focus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Business-oriented mindset with a strong drive to achieve and exceed sales targets.
