Role Overview
The Sales and Marketing Executive is responsible for supporting the marketing manager and driving enrollment and brand visibility in the private education sector through a blend of sales, marketing, and relationship management activities. This role combines strategic outreach, content creation, event coordination, and stakeholder engagement to achieve the institution's targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the marketing manager in planning and executing marketing activities, including campaigns and promotional events.
- Assist in formulating detailed marketing plans, and contribute creative ideas for advertising and direct marketing initiatives.
- Communicate with target audiences to nurture prospective student leads and maintain strong client relationships.
- Create engaging multimedia content (videos, blog posts, social media), and oversee the performance of digital channels to boost audience engagement.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of social media platforms (e.g. Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter) and suggest improvements.
- Organize and attend events such as seminars, conferences, receptions, and exhibitions to drive brand presence and recruitment.
- Arrange meetings and presentations with corporate partners and educational institutions, identifying new business opportunities.
- Ensure the effective distribution of marketing materials across appropriate channels.
- Maintain and regularly update the customer and client database using CRM systems, supporting both sales and marketing functions.
- Meet predefined sales and enrollment targets set by the manager, through proactive lead generation and diligent follow-up.
- Increase and manage the client database to expand the institution's reach in the private education market.
- Support academic course coordinators (course in-charges) in confirming class schedules and student enrollments.
- Build and sustain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders by conducting regular feedback surveys and analysis.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Communication or related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in sales/marketing, preferably in education or training sector.
- Strong verbal and written communication and relationship-building skills.
- Creative content creation and digital marketing expertise.
- Organizational skills and experience with event planning.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, analytics, and digital marketing tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
