Who we are looking for

We are seeking a motivated, outgoing and client-focused Junior Sales Advisor to join our Private Clients team.

In this role, you will actively generate new business opportunities, convert leads, service a portfolio of renewal clients to contribute to our team's retention and nurture long-term relationships to grow your portfolio.

You are a highly client-centric individual who enjoys face-to-face engagement and daily client interaction. You have a natural ability to understand clients needs, challenges, and priorities, and you are committed to delivering a positive and professional client experience.

While experience in insurance is preferred, we are open to candidates from customer-facing service industries with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for client service. Backgrounds such as F&B, airline cabin crew, hospitality, nursing are welcome.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about sales, relationship management and delivering exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively generate new business opportunities through referrals, networking and outreach to achieve individual sales targets and KPIs
  • Conduct face-to-face client meetings and build a strong sales pipeline to grow yourportfolio
  • Convert inbound and outbound leads into new clients
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Diot-Siaci Asia
  • Manage and develop a portfolio of individual/private clients
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships through regular engagement
  • Manage policy/contract renewals to ensure strong client retention
  • Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities within your portfolio
  • Provide tailored advice and solutions based on clients needs
  • Ensure timely follow-up on client inquiries and service requests
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and sales activities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery
  • Support operational and administrative tasks, including preparation of proposals, renewal documentation, and client reports
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects and initiatives as assigned by the Company

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in any discipline
  • 0-3 years of sales, client service, or relationship management experience
  • Experience in insurance, financial services or advisory environment is preferred but not required fresh graduates with a strong interest in sales are welcome to apply
  • CGI, BCP, PGI, or HI certifications are an advantage but not mandatory. We are willing to sponsor the certification exam fees for suitable candidates.
  • CM-LIP (M9 + M9A) and M5/RES5 certifications are an added advantage
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outgoing personality and enjoy face-to-face networking and client engagement
  • Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work towards sales targets
  • Proficiency in MS Office
