Job Title: Sales Account Manager - Fresh Fruits & Produce
Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Account Manager to drive our business growth within the fresh fruit supply sector. The ideal candidate will leverage their industry knowledge and sales acumen to develop new accounts, nurture existing relationships, and ensure the successful distribution of our high-quality fruit products. Key Responsibilities:
. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets for a portfolio of fresh fruit products.
. Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities with retailers, wholesalers, food service providers, and other relevant channels.
. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key accounts, acting as their primary point of contact.
. Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profitable outcomes for both the client and the company.
. Collaborate closely with internal teams including procurement, logistics, and quality control to ensure customer requirements are met and orders are fulfilled seamlessly.
. Stay abreast of market trends, pricing, and competitor activity within the fresh produce industry.
. Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
. Minimum of 3 years of proven sales experience within the fresh fruit supply, produce, or perishables industry.
. A strong existing network of contacts within the retail, wholesale, or food service produce industry is a significant advantage.
. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
