Starlite Systems Technologies is hiring a Sales Account Manager to support our growing security solutions business. This role requires a highly proactive individual who is willing to go out to meet customers in person, and actively develop new business opportunities. The role covers CCTV, access control, and customized security system solutions for commercial, industrial, construction, and private residential projects.
Key Responsibilities / Job Scope
- Actively source new leads, referrals, and networking
- Meet customers on-site or at offices to understand requirements and propose suitable security solutions
- Conduct site surveys and coordinate with technical teams when required
- Prepare quotations & proposals, follow up closely to close sales
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, interior designers, and end users
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions
- Achieve assigned sales targets and performance KPIs
- Attend site meetings and project discussions as needed
Requirements
- Willingness to go out frequently to source new leads and meet customers
- Minimum 1 year of sales experience in construction, building, architecture, electrical devices, or security-related industries preferred
- Background in Construction Trade is an advantage
- Ability to understand products and services and effectively communicate key features and benefits to potential customers
- Strong persuasive and presentation skills to convey the company's value proposition
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Self-driven, persistent, able to work independently, and comfortable with target-based performance
- Basic computer skills (email, Microsoft Word, and Excel)
