Job Summary
As a Sales Account Manager at Sensient, you will drive client portfolio growth by managing accounts, developing market insights, and generating new sales opportunities. This role is office-based at Biopolis and requires a proactive, results-driven approach. This position is 100% office-based at Sensient's Biopolis office.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve growth and ensure long-term client success
- Analyze clients market position, products/services, unique selling points, and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies
- Build and maintain positive client relationships, acting as the primary contact to address customer needs effectively
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries to deliver a positive and timely customer experience
- Coordinate client feedback and input for projects, ensuring clear direction and adherence to timelines
- Generate new sales by leveraging existing and potential customer networks to expand business opportunities
- Report regularly on account status and transaction progress to internal stakeholders
Required competencies and certifications
- Bachelor's degree in food science or a relevant field
- 8 to 10 years of experience as a Sales Account Manager in the food and beverage industry
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Self-motivation, persuasive communication, and results-oriented mindset demonstrated through consistent contributions in fast-paced environments
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office applications
