We are partnering with a managed IT services provider to hire a Sales Account Manager to manage and grow customer and partner accounts.
The role involves driving renewals, cross-sell and up-sell opportunities, and selling managed IT services, cloud, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and system integration solutions.
Manage and grow assigned customer accounts and partner opportunities.
Build strong relationships with customers, partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Identify and drive renewal, cross-sell, up-sell, and service expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
Develop sales opportunities across managed IT services, cloud, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and IT support solutions.
Conduct account reviews to understand customer needs, technology gaps, upcoming projects, and service improvement areas.
Collaborate with internal technical teams to define requirements, shape proposals, and align solutions with customer expectations.
Position IT services as business-focused solutions that improve efficiency, security, reliability, and operational continuity.
Maintain accurate CRM updates, pipeline tracking, forecast updates, proposal progress, and customer follow-ups.
Own weekly sales review updates, including opportunity progress, blockers, next steps, forecast accuracy, and deal movement.
Minimum 2 years of sales experience in IT solutions, managed services, system integration, cloud, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or related technology services.
Minimum 1 year of experience in relevant core competencies, such as account management, partner-led selling, managed services sales, IT solutions sales, or customer relationship management.
Prior experience working in or selling within a System Integrator environment is required.
Proven experience selling managed services, recurring services, IT support services, outsourcing, or service-led technology solutions.
Good understanding of the Singapore business / IT services market, including local customers, partners, vendors, and decision-makers.
Able to communicate effectively with customers, partners, and vendors who primarily communicate in Chinese.
Good understanding of IT services such as cloud, cybersecurity, infrastructure, endpoints, networks, servers, managed support, and service delivery models.
Strong sales capability, including prospecting, discovery, proposal positioning, negotiation, closing, account growth, renewals, cross-sell, and up-sell.
Able to manage accounts and drive sales opportunities through customers, partners, vendors, and internal technical teams.
Able to sell business outcomes and value, rather than only hardware, software, or price-based solutions.
Strong communication, presentation, proposal writing, follow-up, CRM, pipeline tracking, and weekly reporting discipline.
Self-driven, mature, target-oriented, accountable, and comfortable working in a growing business environment.
