Job Description

Sales and Account Management

Collaborate with Account Managers (AMs) to identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities.

Understand client-specific needs and design fit-for-purpose, value-driven solutions.

Co-manage proposals, pricing, and contracts with AMs to deliver cohesive and competitive offerings.

Support AMs in proposal development, prospect engagement, and deal closure.

Deliver persuasive proposals and presentations that clearly communicate value propositions.

Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Act as the Subject Matter Expert for CBS services, including mailroom, printroom, digitisation, front-office support, transactional printing, and offshoring services.

Serve as the knowledge authority during pre-sales engagements and solution transitions.

Lead and manage RFP/RFI submissions and sales proposals related to CBS services.

Conduct discovery and requirements-gathering sessions, with operational support where required.

Analyze customer requirements to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and aligned with delivery capabilities.

Develop detailed Statements of Work (SOWs) outlining scope, deliverables, service levels, and commercial terms.

Collaborate with operations and technical teams to validate solution feasibility while ensuring healthy margins.

Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to optimise solution design.

Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory frameworks governing outsourcing (e.g. MAS data security and privacy requirements).

Lead Generation and Pipeline Management

Guide and coach AMs on qualifying opportunities and positioning CBS services with prospective clients.

Proactively generate new leads and jointly develop opportunities with AMs through to successful closure.

Post-Sales and Account Management

Work closely with Operations to ensure a seamless handover from pre-sales to implementation.

Act as the primary point of contact for CBS clients, driving satisfaction, retention, and account growth.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field.

Proven track record in solution sales, business development, or pre-sales consultancy, preferably within outsourcing or related services.

Key Skills and Competencies

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Solid understanding of the outsourcing industry, including market trends, best practices, and key players.

Analytical and solution-oriented, with the ability to translate client needs into actionable proposals.
