Job Summary
The Account Manager drives revenue growth by managing sales campaigns and aligning Black Box solutions with customer business needs. This role owns customer relationships, generates new business, and collaborates across teams to deliver impactful IT solutions.
Responsibilities
- Identify customer needs and respond effectively to objections to advance sales opportunities
- Align client business objectives with Black Box solutions to address their challenges
- Negotiate and close sales campaigns to achieve revenue targets
- Provide expertise on industry best practices and develop high-level strategic recommendations
- Retain and expand the customer base through cross-selling and upselling initiatives
- Sell a broad portfolio of products across multiple industries to meet diverse client needs
- Assist customers in maximizing their investment returns with Black Box solutions
- Establish trusted advisor relationships with prospects and customers to build long-term partnerships
- Collaborate with sales and pre-sales teams to align goals and refine sales strategies
- Generate leads through targeted prospecting and networking activities
Required competencies and certifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of business-to-business experience with a proven track record as an Account Manager, including experience in Logistic / Healthcare Industries.
- Excellent objection handling and negotiation skills demonstrated in sales contexts
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with multiple internal team members
- Effective time-management and organizational skills to handle multiple work streams simultaneously
- Clear communication skills for engaging internal stakeholders
- Resourcefulness in overcoming barriers and objections during the sales process
- Proven ability to meet or exceed established sales goals
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience in solution selling within IT services
