Job Description

We are assisting a Telecommunication company to look for a Junior Sales Account Executive. This role starts with a strong focus on administration and operations support across customer-related activities, such as billing, purchase orders, order processing, and quotations. Over time, the position will evolve into a commercial, customer-facing sales role, with structured exposure to enterprise and key account activities.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working with both internal teams and customers, is eager to learn the commercial side of the business and is motivated to grow into a full sales role within an estimated 2-year period - dependent on performance and readiness.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Manage day-to-day customer-related activities including billing, purchase orders, order processing, and quotation preparation.
  • Support Account Managers and Account Directors with internal administrative and operational workload.

Commercial Exposure & Support

  • Work closely with sales teams to understand commercial processes, account management workflows, and customer engagement strategies.
  • Assist in preparing sales documentation, reports, and proposals.
  • Stakeholders Management
  • Collaborate extensively with internal stakeholders (across operations, finance, product, delivery teams) to ensure smooth customer lifecycle processes.
  • Interact with external customers to facilitate operational tasks and provide timely updates.

This is an outwardfacing role - suited for individuals comfortable engaging with multiple people across teams and organizations.

Role Progression

  • This is not a pure administrative role it is designed to transition into a sales or account management role over 2 years.
  • Progression pace will depend on:
  • Performance in current responsibilities
  • Commercial aptitude
  • Comfortability engaging with customers
  • Readiness to take on sales targets and customer portfolios

Requirements

Must-Have

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills - comfortable engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Detailoriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks.
  • Proactive, eager to learn, and interested in building a career in sales or account management.
  • Not suited for someone who prefers purely administrative or back-office work.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in Systems Integrators (SI), technology firms, or industries with similar operational processes.
  • Telco experience is not mandatory, but beneficial due to overlapping workflows.
  • Prior exposure to billing, operations, or sales support functions.
