Job Description

We are looking for a driven and reliable Sales Account Executive (Inside Sales) to support key customers, handle day-to-day sales activities, and work closely with the Managing Director on business development activities. This hybrid role blends sales coordination, account servicing, commercial support, and customer success. It is ideal for someone who wants exposure to real customer relationships in a precision manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Activities (Core Function)

  • Prepare accurate quotations for standard and custom tooling requests.

  • Process customer POs, ensuring correct pricing, terms, and lead times.

  • Coordinate with engineering, production, and suppliers to fulfil orders smoothly.

  • Generate delivery orders, invoices, and maintain documentation under AS9100D.

  • Track order progress and provide timely updates to customers.

2. Inside Sales & Account Servicing

  • Serve as a key internal point of contact for assigned customers.

  • Understand recurring orders, consumption trends, and customer priorities.

  • Manage follow-ups and ensure commitments are closed off internally.

  • Support issue resolution with professionalism and speed.

  • Summarise meeting notes, follow-up actions, and commercial points after customer discussions.

3. Business Development Support

  • Assist the MD in preparing proposals, pricing summaries, and commercial presentations.

  • Conduct pre-meeting research and coordinate post-meeting follow-ups.

  • Identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities through order data and customer dialogue.

  • Maintain lead tracking, opportunity logs, and account activity records.

4. Customer Success & Relationship Retention

  • Monitor service quality and escalate potential risks early.

  • Ensure a smooth, accurate, and reliable quote-to-cash experience.

  • Build long-term customer confidence through consistent communication and delivery.

  • Strengthen account retention by understanding customer needs and anticipating issues.

  • Comfortable engaging with customers and supporting commercial discussions.

  • Motivated to learn technical concepts (training provided).

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through reliably.

  • Experience in sales coordination, customer service, or account support is advantageous.
