Sales & Account Executive, MSP Solutions (Singapore SME Market)

The Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales & Account Executive to spearhead our growth and cultivate lasting relationships in the Singapore SME market. This pivotal role involves expanding our client base by articulating the value of our managed services model, which is designed to proactively address IT needs rather than simply reacting to issues. You will manage the full client lifecycle - from market engagement and lead generation through to proposal presentation, deal closure, and subsequent account growth. We encourage innovative approaches and expect you to leverage modern digital marketing techniques, including social media, and embrace AI-driven tools to effectively reach, influence, and retain our target audience.

Key Responsibilities

As a Sales & Account Executive, MSP Solutions, you will:

  • Market Engagement & Lead Generation:
    • Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities within the Singapore SME sector, aligning with our target client profile.
    • Leverage social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook Business) for targeted outreach, content sharing, thought leadership, and building professional networks to generate qualified leads.
    • Explore, experiment with, and actively seek to implement AI-driven tools and marketing automation strategies for lead sourcing, initial contact personalization, and market research to enhance lead generation efficiency.
  • Client Engagement & Discovery:
    • Conduct in-depth client discovery, utilizing our structured questionnaire process to uncover pain points, IT challenges, and critical business requirements.
    • Frame sales conversations around solving specific business challenges, articulating the value of our proactive managed services model over reactive, break-fix approaches.
    • Gather precise information to support the protective clauses in our proposals (e.g., EOL/EOS status, lack of support contracts, resource capacity issues), ensuring a clear understanding of client environments.
  • Solution Presentation & Proposal:
    • Deliver compelling client-facing presentations that tell a strategic narrative, guiding clients from their pain points to our Framework for Success.
    • Clearly explain our Remote-First operational model and the logic behind our multi-layered, per-unit, value-based pricing structure (covering Users, Servers, Platforms, Cloud Accounts, Shared Infrastructure, and Optional Add-ons).
    • Work closely with our internal teams to generate accurate and robust proposals using automated quoting tools, ensuring alignment with client needs and our service framework.
    • Effectively communicate the Scope & Boundary Fortification clauses within our proposals (e.g., Three-Tiered Service Classification, Fair Use /Unstable Asset Clause, Service Prerequisites, Client Responsibilities), setting clear expectations and ensuring mutual understanding.
  • Negotiation & Closure:
    • Negotiate terms, overcome objections, and successfully close deals, adhering to our established pricing models and legal frameworks.
    • Ensure all contractual agreements align with the definitive proposal and company standards.
  • Account Management & Client Success:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients post-sale, nurturing long-term relationships and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
    • Proactively identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts, demonstrating further value and expanding our service footprint.
    • Conduct regular client reviews to assess service performance, gather feedback, and address any evolving needs.
    • Manage contract renewals and proactively work to retain client business.
  • Handover & Expectation Setting:
    • Collaborate with the Service Delivery team to ensure a smooth client onboarding process, setting realistic expectations regarding service commencement and any identified remediation projects.
  • CRM & Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline management, client interaction data, and account health metrics.
    • Provide regular reports on sales activities, market trends, lead generation effectiveness, and account growth.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience:
    • Minimum 3+ years of proven B2B IT solution sales experience, with a strong preference for candidates from the Managed Services Provider (MSP) sector.
    • Demonstrable track record of successfully selling recurring revenue services and managing client accounts in the Singapore SME market.
  • Domain Knowledge:
    • Solid understanding of modern IT infrastructure, cloud services (AWS), and common business technology challenges faced by SMEs.
    • Familiarity with value-based, recurring revenue pricing models and an ability to articulate their benefits over traditional block of hours or reactive IT support.
  • Sales & Account Management Acumen:
    • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, capable of engaging confidently with C-level executives and IT managers.
    • Ability to translate complex technical concepts and contractual terms into clear business value and benefits for the client.
    • Strategic thinker with a proactive, hunter mentality for new business and a strong focus on client retention and growth.
    • Proven ability to build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
  • Digital Marketing & Automation Enthusiasm:
    • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing social media strategies for lead generation and professional networking.
    • A keen interest in, and aptitude for, utilizing AI-driven tools and marketing automation strategies to enhance both sales and account management efforts (e.g., personalized follow-ups, identifying client trends). We are an innovative unit and value creativity in these areas.
