What We Expect
We are looking for a Sales Manager to drive customer adoption and revenue growth of SmartX Enterprise Cloud solutions in Singapore and selected Southeast Asia markets. In this role, you will partner closely with Channel Partners and Technical teams to position SmartX as a strategic enterprise cloud platform for our customers. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role suited for individuals who enjoy selling complex infrastructure solutions and influencing customer outcomes through value-based selling.
Drive pipeline development, deal execution, and revenue growth for SmartX Enterprise Cloud solutions
Act as a technical solution sales overlay, supporting opportunity qualification, solution positioning, and customer engagement
Engage with enterprise customers to understand business and technical requirements and align SmartX solutions to customer outcomes
Support customer evaluations, demos, workshops, and PoCs in collaboration with Solution Architects and Product teams
Influence customer buying decisions by articulating SmartX's value proposition, competitive differentiation, and use cases
Work closely with Channel Partners to co-develop opportunities and execute joint sales motions
Provide structured feedback to Product Management and Marketing based on customer and partner insights
Support field enablement, partner enablement, and GTM campaigns to accelerate market traction
Maintain accurate pipeline and forecast visibility in CRM systems
Qualifications
38 years of experience in quota-carrying enterprise software or infrastructure sales, preferably in IaaS, Cloud, or data center technologies
Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure solutions, including Cloud, Virtualization, HCI, Software-Defined Data Centers, and Modern Infrastructure
Prior experience selling or supporting solutions from VMware, Nutanix, Red Hat, Citrix, or similar vendors is highly desirable
Experience working in an overlay / specialist sales role or in close partnership with Account Executives
Proven ability to build trusted relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
Experience engaging with senior IT stakeholders; exposure to C-level conversations is a plus
Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Comfortable positioning new or emerging technologies and driving customer adoption
Collaborative, accountable, and results-driven mindset
Self-starter with the ability to operate effectively in a scaling, high-growth organization
Business-fluent Chinese is required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) preferred
Must be a Singapore citizen, Permanent Resident, or hold a valid work permit in Singapore
