We are seeking an experienced Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) Manager/Specialist to lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of our SHE Management System for office and project sites. You will ensure compliance with statutory requirements, promote safety culture, and support project teams in maintaining safe work environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor SHE activities, including safety inductions and compliance with ISO 45001 & BizSAFE standards.
- Promote SHE awareness and safety campaigns coordinate procurement of safety equipment.
- Conduct site inspections, advise on corrective actions, and support project safety personnel.
- Act as first aider and emergency contact when needed.
- Provide SHE documentation to support project bidding.
- Identify training needs and coordinate safety training programs.
- Manage safety staff and subcontractors to meet legal and contractual safety requirements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in SHE management and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively on projects.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ISO 45001, BizSAFE) preferred.
Performance Metrics:
- Zero injuries/accidents
- Reduction in corrective actions (CARs)
- Compliance with SHE standards and audit requirements
