Reporting to the Project Manager, plan and advise management on accident prevention, safe work methods, legal requirements affecting safety and health.
Conduct safety committee meetings and safety audits.
Establish quality safety management policies and procedures.
To investigate accidents if any, identify causes and take necessary actions to prevent similar accidents in future.
Supervise workers in providing Environmental measures and Conducts job hazard analysis to determine safe working practices and engineering controls.
Supervisor and coordinate and advise various project team members on environmental requirements for Earth Spillages, water pollution, noise pollution, proper waste management and disposal and prevention of silt build up, mosquito and pest control etc.
Lead daily Toolbox meeting, safety meetings, safety inspections, safety training and all other initiatives or activities to maintain a high level of safety at worksite so to prevent workplace accidents.
Maintain and update all WSH records, certificates, and reports in accordance with WSH legislation.
Perform any other duties as assigned by Project Manager / Superior.
Requirements:
A Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Engineering (Civil), Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent
Must be a MOM registered as a WSHO
Good knowledge of Safety Regulations and Procedures in Construction Industry of HDB project.
Good communication skills
Min 3 years relevant working experience in construction industry, preferably in HDB Project
With FSM certificate &/or HDB Project experience will be an advantage
Must have professional knowledge in law and regulations of Environment Acts
Able to start work immediately or within short notice.
