Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business performance, ensuring excellent customer service, managing staff, and maintaining compliance with Singapore's food safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations
- Ensure smooth service flow and high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Handle customer feedback and resolve issues promptly
- Prepare staff schedules and manage manpower efficiently
- Foster a positive work environment and maintain team morale
- Manage budgets, control food and labour costs, and reduce wastage
- Liaise with suppliers and negotiate pricing
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or General Manager in F&B
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Good understanding of restaurant operations and financial management
- Knowledge of Singapore food safety regulations and licensing requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure
- Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or related field
- Experience managing high-volume or multi-outlet operations
