SAFETY OFFICER

Working Days: 5.5 days , Monday to Saturday

Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Mon to Fri), 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM (SAT)

Salary: SGD 3,000 - SGD 4,000 per month (depending on experience)

JOB DESCRIPTION

1) Conduct safety inspections at cleaning sites and ensure compliance with WSH requirements.

2) Prepare and review risk assessments, Safe Work Procedures (SWPs) and safety records.

3) Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings and staff safety training.

4) Investigate workplace incidents and follow up on corrective actions.

5) Monitor safe use of PPE, cleaning chemicals, equipment and work-at-height practices.

6) Coordinate ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 audits, including documentation and corrective action follow-up.

7) Support ISO and bizSAFE certification maintenance and work with Operations Managers on safety improvements

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

1. Relevant WSH or safety certificate completed bizSAFE Level 2 Risk Management training or equivalent.

2. Knowledge of Singapore WSH requirements and ability to prepare risk assessments independently.

3. Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 audits and documentation.

4. Safety experience in cleaning or facilities management is preferred.

5. Work-at-Height Manager experience is an advantage.

6. Good communication, computer and reporting skills able to travel between sites.
