Safety Officer (1-Year Contract)
Job Description & Requirements:
Successful candidate will assist QA/QC & Safety Manager on the following tasks:
- Lead and manage the overall WSH management system across project sites
- Ensure full compliance with Workplace Safety & Health Act andMOM requirements
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, audits, and site safety inspections
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses submit reports to relevant authorities
- Advise project management on safety risks, controls, and preventive measures
- Develop, review, and enforce safety policies, procedures, and emergency response plans
- Chair safety meetings and lead toolbox talks and safety campaigns
- Liaise with authorities, clients, and consultants on WSH-related matters
- Mentor and guide WSH Coordinators and site teams
- Keep the site ready for inspections at all times
- Keep the site clean and orderly and store materials and tools safely.
- Any other duties as assigned by QA/QC & Safety Manager
Skills and Experience:
WSH Officer:
- Registered WSH Officer with MOM
- Strong knowledge of WSH legislation and site management experience
- A team player that is willing to work with different age groups and nationalities.
- Working Hours : Mon to Fri 8 am - 7 pm, Sat 8am - 12pm
