Safety Officer

Job Description & Requirements

. To develop & implement Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) policy, programs &

procedures

. To ensure all safety matters are in compliance with statutory, contractual &

management system requirements

. To oversee and lead the Safety team in the implementation of company's safety

system at project sites

. To conduct toolbox meetings

. Perform construction site safety inspections & attend site walks with client &

subcons

. Identify unsafe work practice and work condition & recommend control measures

to project team

. Prepare/Review Risk Assessment/SWP/Method Statement/Permit-to-Work for all

project works. Manage and maintain/update these safety records & checklists

. Inventory management for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

. Support haze and pandemic activities

. Respond promptly to incidents & accidents

Requirements:

. WSQ Advanced Certificate in WSH or its equivalent

. Registered WSHC/WSHO with MOM, ECO with NEA

. Have a good knowledge in Occupational Health & Safety Management System

. Have excellent people management & interpersonal skills
