Safety Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Officer to join our team for a major power plant demolition project in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of workplace safety and regulatory compliance throughout the project.

Key Responsibilities:

. Implement and enforce site-specific safety management systems and procedures.

. Conduct daily safety inspections and audits of demolition activities.

. Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective measures.

. Ensure compliance with WSH Act, relevant Singapore regulations, and company safety policies.

. Lead toolbox meetings and site safety briefings.

. Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure compliance.

. Investigate and report all incidents, near-misses, and accidents, including root cause analysis.

. Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure adherence to safety protocols.

. Maintain accurate safety documentation and prepare regular safety reports for management and authorities.

. Liaise with external auditors, government agencies, and clients on safety matters.

. Support and promote a strong safety culture among all site personnel.

Requirements:

. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in demolition, construction, or heavy industrial projects.

. Must be a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident (PR).

. Possess a valid WSH Officer Certificate (recognized by MOM Singapore).

. Registered with MOM as WSH Officer.

. Familiar with Singapore Worl

. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

. Able to work independently and under pressure in a dynamic project environment.
