Safety Officer

Job Description:

• Oversee and lead the team & subcontractors in the implementation of Company's safety systems at sites
• Inspect and examine the workplace to ensure workplace safety compliance
• Identify safety, environmental health non-compliance and recommend measures to rectify
• Liaise with authorities and clients on matters pertaining to environmental, workplace safety issues
• Liaise closely with site operations staff and Project Managers on all safety and health issues .
• Conduct & organize internal / external WSH trainings for staffs.
• Conduct incident investigations & propose corrective actions.
• Review OHSMS and provide recommendations for improvement of safety.
• Conduct regular inspection and audits on the safety provisions.
• Conduct, review & submit Risk Assessments.
• Prepare safe work procedures for site activities.

Requirements:

• Specialist Diploma in WSH
• Minimum 2 years relevant working experience in construction industry
• Possess a valid registration with MOM
