Job Description

Position: Safety officer (6-Month / Construction/ Cleanroom Projects)
Location: Mapletree Hi-Tech Park @ Kallang Way
Working hours: 5.5-day work week, office hours
Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $6000
Duration: Employment Type: 6-month contract -Convertible to permanent employment or extendable based on work performance
Industry: Construction / Cleanroom Engineering

Main Responsibilities:

Implement and maintain WSH policies, procedures, records and documentation.
Ensure project site compliance with WSH regulations, company rules and safe work practices.
Conduct site inspections, safety briefings, orientations and toolbox meetings.
Identify workplace risks and ensure risk assessments and control measures are in place.
Lead safety coordination with subcontractors and site teams.
Assist in safety audits and investigate incidents, near misses and dangerous occurrences.
Monitor safety performance, trends and improvement actions.
Organise safety training, awareness programmes and mandatory safety initiatives.
Liaise with authorities, clients, consultants and internal teams on WSH matters.
Coordinate WSH meetings, audits and inspections, including minutes and follow-up actions.

Requirements:

Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer will be advantageous.
Relevant experience in construction, cleanroom, M&E or engineering project safety.
Familiar with WSH Act, WSH regulations and site safety requirements.
Experience in risk assessment, incident investigation and safety documentation.
Able to conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings and site inspections.
Good communication and coordination skills with site teams, subcontractors and clients.
Organised, detail-oriented and able to follow up on corrective actions.
