Safety Manager

To develop and be responsible for the implementation and monitoring of Workplace Safety & Health and HSE Plan at work sites.

Promote safety and health at the workplace eg. Safety Campaign, Safety Promotion, etc.

Conduct risk assessments, lifting studies reviews, and method statement approvals.

Participate in client/main con site safety meeting, safety walkabout, and weekly coordination meetings and troubleshoot site HSE issues.

Conduct risk assessments, safe work procedures, lifting studies reviews, and method statement approvals.

Organize and conduct safety inductions, toolbox meetings, and training programs to enhance worker safety awareness.

Lead investigations into accidents, near-misses, and injuries, and prepare detailed reports, recommending corrective and preventive actions to Management/Client.

Enforce compliance with WSH legislations, manage Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems, and ensure adherence to ISO 45001 and BizSafe standards.

Maintain overall site safety compliance and support project safety objectives.

Coordinate closely with project managers, engineers, lifting supervisors, and subcontractors.

Lead site safety inspections, audits, follow-up actions to ensure safety compliance and corrective action tracking.

Undertake any other ad hoc tasks as and when assigned by Group HSE/ Project Manager.
