To provide monthly reports to senior management on all workplace safety and health (WSH) matters.
To develop, review, and reinforce the implementation of WSH plans, risk assessments, programmes (e.g. meetings, tabletop exercises, ad-hoc inspections, training, WSH promotions, and awareness initiatives), and emergency plans to continually improve WSH performance for the Town Council.
To ensure the safety of all personnel through compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act, other applicable legislation, and contractual WSH requirements.
To organise and conduct safety briefings, toolbox meetings, and training sessions for Town Council staff and contractors.
To conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective and preventive actions.
To lead, investigate, and report on accidents, near misses, and injuries to senior management and the Town Council.
To liaise with relevant authorities (e.g. MOM, NEA) on all matters relating to workplace safety and health.
Requirements:
Approved university degree in Workplace Safety and Health or other approved WSQ specialist diploma in Workplace Safety and Health with at least three (3) years relevant experience
