The Position
- Coordinate and implement site-wide hazardous waste collection, characterization and storage programs;
- Liaise with waste management representatives on collection schedules and other administrative matters;
- Prepare and submit documentation for compliance as required by service provider and the National Environment Agency (NEA) e.g. waste manifest, e-consignment etc.;
- Understand applicable environmental permit and regulatory requirements, and assess compliance risks;
- Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to implement procedures and practices to minimize environmental risks and ensure adherence to site environmental requirements and/or regulatory compliance;
- Monitor, track and update Safety Data Sheet (SDS) database;
- Support other on-going safety and sustainability initiatives as required, including other tasks as assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Diploma/Degree in engineering, biotechnology, science, pharmaceutical engineering, safety, or any equivalent field
- Must be willing to work at Singapore Tuas Bay Link. Candidates should be available to commence the internship from December 2025 or January 2026 onwards
