The Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Department is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to assist in a project focused on improving the efficiency and accuracy of our safety inspection processes. This project involves developing and implementing a QR code system to automate the completion and tracking of essential safety checklists.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the AIC team to understand current inspection procedures and checklist requirements for:
- First Aid Box Check
- Crane Inspection Checklist
- Trailer Inspection Checklist
- Prime Mover Inspection Checklist
- Forklift Inspection Checklist
- Design and generate QR codes linked to digital versions of the above checklists.
- Develop a user-friendly system (e.g., using Google Forms, Microsoft Forms, or a similar platform) for accessing and completing checklists via QR codes.
- Create a database or tracking system to store and manage completed checklists.
- Assist in testing the QR code system and gathering feedback from users.
- Prepare training materials and user guides for the new system.
- Support the WSH team in other related tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Current undergraduate students
- Proficiency in Ms.Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint essential.
- Excellent organizational skills with an ability to prioritize important projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with attention to details.
- Work well in the team and be able to drive individual assignment/projects
