Our client is a well-established MNC within the energy and infrastructure sector, specialising in storage and handling operations. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a SHE Executive to join their team. They are located in the (West) - easily accessible.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee compliance with Workplace Safety & Health, environmental protection, and security regulations within terminal operations
- Act as the appointed Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO), Fire Safety Manager (FSM), and Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO), including coordination with relevant internal teams
- Ensure operational activities meet environmental regulatory standards and minimise environmental impact
- Manage applications and renewals of SHE-related permits and licences
- Administer occupational health and industrial hygiene programmes
- Conduct risk assessments, workplace inspections, and monitor corrective actions
- Track and report SHE performance, including improvement initiatives and compliance status
- Support implementation of mandatory SHE training programmes for employees and contractors
- Plan and coordinate emergency preparedness activities, including drills and response exercises
- Execute safety initiatives and operational improvement programmes aligned with organisational targets
- Monitor contractor compliance with safety standards and drive performance improvements
- Support incident and emergency response activities when required
- Maintain documentation including permit-to-work systems and safety records
- Coordinate annual SHE training plans and schedules
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in a relevant discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Safety, Health & Environment within a related industry
- Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) with MOM
- Certified Fire Safety Manager (FSM) with SCDF
- Basic Experience in process safety
