Safety coordinator

Position Details:

Job Title: Safety Coordinator

Salary: $3,000 - $4,000++ (based on experience)

Working Hours:

. Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

. Saturday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Monthly Off Days: 6 Days

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with site safety plans, regulations, contractual obligations, and safety guidelines

Maintain strong knowledge of Layton Level 1 Practices and the One HSE Culture framework

Assist in developing CMS/CRA/JHA and ensure supervisors understand and implement the project JHA

Organize and oversee work activities to align with approved safety standards and risk control measures

Conduct supervisor kick-off meetings and lead site control briefings to communicate Level 1 risks

Perform daily site inspections, identify hazards, report findings, and follow up on corrective actions

Ensure proper risk assessments are done for high-risk activities under the PTW (Permit to Work) process

Participate in the Emergency Response Team as needed and promptly report incidents and near-misses

Attend monthly Project Safety Management Committee meetings to review and improve site safety
