SAFETY COORDINATOR / SAFETY OFFICER

. Relevant experience in the Singapore construction industry.

. Must have Reinforced Concrete (RC) construction experience.

. Must be able to independently prepare Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP) and Lifting Plans.

. Must be able to respond to and close out Safety Observations, Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Safety Reports.

. Good knowledge of Singapore WSH regulations and MOM requirements.

. Possess relevant safety qualifications and certifications.

. Good communication, coordination and reporting skills.

. Able to work independently and coordinate with project managers, main contractors and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

. Implement and monitor workplace safety programmes.

. Conduct site safety inspections, audits and risk assessments.

. Prepare RA, SWP and Lifting Plans.

. Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings.

. Investigate accidents and incidents and prepare required reports to MOM.

. Address Safety Observations and NCRs and follow up on corrective actions.

. Maintain safety documentation, inspection records and training records.

. Ensure workers PPE is safe and in good condition.

. Liaise with clients, main contractors and subcontractors on site safety matters.

. Assist the Project Manager with safety matters and attend site meetings.

. Prepare safety reports for management.

. Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
