SAFETY COORDINATOR

1. Workplace Safety & Health Compliance

• Ensure compliance with applicable WSH legislation, company safety policies, and site safety requirements.

• Promote a safe and healthy working environment for all employees and contractors.

2. Site Safety Inspection

• Conduct regular workplace and site safety inspections to identify hazards and unsafe work practices.

• Follow up on safety issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

3. Risk Assessment & Safe Work Procedures

• Assist in preparing and reviewing risk assessments and Safe Work Procedures (SWPs).

• Monitor compliance with safety procedures and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

4. Safety Training & Coordination

• Conduct safety inductions and toolbox meetings for employees, contractors, and subcontractors.

• Coordinate with project teams and clients on site safety requirements.

5. Incident Reporting & Investigation

• Assist in investigating workplace accidents and near misses, and follow up on corrective actions.

• Maintain proper records of accidents, safety inspections, and related documentation.

6. Safety Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain and update WSH records, inspection reports, and other safety-related documents.

• Assist in safety audits, client inspections, and inspections by relevant authorities.

7. Other Duties

• Assist in emergency preparedness and safety improvement initiatives.

• Perform other WSH-related duties as assigned by management.
