Safety Coordinator

Salary Up to SGD 11,000

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Senior Safety Manager / WSHO in implementing and maintaining site Workplace Safety & Health requirements.
• Coordinate daily safety activities for BHS installation and airport M&E works.
• Monitor and control high-risk activities, ensuring strict compliance with approved Risk Assessments and Safe Work Procedures.
• Enforce and verify correct application of LOTO (Lock-Out / Tag-Out) procedures.
• Conduct routine site safety inspections and patrols; identify and report unsafe conditions or practices.
• Assist in incident and near-miss investigations and follow up on corrective actions.
• Maintain safety records, permits, checklists, and documentation.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and site inductions.
• Ensure all personnel comply with Changi Airport safety rules, access control, and restricted area requirements.
• Liaise with supervisors, subcontractors, and airport representatives on safety matters.

Requirements

• Holds Advanced Workplace Safety and Health Certificate (Level B) or equivalent qualification from a MOM / WDA-accredited institution.
• Minimum 2 years of post-registration practical experience relevant to contract works.
• At least 2 years of on-site experience in airport M&E works.
• Hands-on experience with LOTO procedures and high-risk activity monitoring in BHS projects.
• Familiar with Changi Airport safety standards, permit-to-work systems, and site entry requirements.
• Good communication and coordination skills
