Safety Coordinator
We are seeking an experienced Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) Coordinator to oversee safety functions on ongoing projects. Candidate will ensure compliance with the WSH Act, implement safety standards, supervise a team, conduct inspections, and support incident reporting and risk assessments.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct safety inspections related to railway to ensure all site activities are carried out in accordance with MOM safety requirements.
- Ensuring all workers comply with MOM requirements.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of material tools, worksites etc
- Preparation of monthly WSH reports, Risk Assessment, Method statement, permit to work statistics.
- Supervise, complete, ensure and attend to all documentation/ permit/ license as necessary related to workplace, safety, health and environmental.
- Conduct daily toolbox meeting.
- Accident investigations and updating statistics.
- Conduct safety training for employees
- Report to the WSHO on all matters
- Assist to handle all incidents at site.
Requirements:
- Must have certificate for Workplace Safety & Health Coordinator
- Must possess BCSS (Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course)
- With at least 2 years relevant experience in LTA - SMRT project
- Good knowledge of WSH act and other WSH related
- Able to supervise and work effectively as part of a team
- Required to work night shift as required (Engineering hours)
